Don Becker loves oil paint, color and inner light. His paintings are serene, contemplative and express his love of sea and sky, interiors, windows and doorways.
Don studied with noted colorist Donald Kaufman and with the esteemed Claire V Dorst. Historical mentors include Milton Avery, Henri Matisse, Pierre Bonnard, JMW Turner, Giorgio Morandi and Muqi. He believes that ultimately the artist is self-taught.
